International Involvement

UBC recently participated in mission trips to Uruguay and Japan and is planning a mission trip to Guatemala this fall (2017).

A missions team from University Baptist Church is headed to Antigua, Guatemala October 28 - November 4. They will be working through Iglesia Del Camino, a local church and ministry in downtown Antigua. While there they will be involved in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through the following types of ministry:


- Building a few small houses

- Bible Story, crafts, songs, games, etc. for children

- Help center caring for daily needs of the children at malnutrition centers

- Provide/serve meal at a homeless shelter

- Share the Gospel of Christ through home visits, community event(s), dramas/skits, etc.

- Buying and passing out water purification filters to families in need 






Small teams of UBC members and members of other Cincinnati Area Baptist Association churches have made annual trips to Montevideo, Uruguay, to support Southern Baptist missionaries and a Southern Baptist church located there. 

Activities included:

- teaching classes

- leading worship services

- canvassing neighborhoods

- engaging university students and others with the gospel of Jesus Christ







Small teams of UBC members have made several trips to Japan to support Southern Baptist missionaries and help the Japanese recover from the 2011 sunami.     

Activities included: 

- hosting neighborhood parties that presented the gospel of Jesus Christ

- organizing supplies for the relief efforts
